About BROMINDER
BROMINDER is an app and website provided by Global Data Society BV. The app lets you create a personal life map with lines, moments, dates and notes. These terms describe the agreement for using the service when it becomes available.
The terms are made available before entering into an agreement, in a form you can save. Visiting this website alone does not mean you agree to an app service contract.
Your account
The app requires an account through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of access to your Apple account and devices. Let us know if you suspect unauthorised access to your BROMINDER account.
Only use the service if you can legally enter into an agreement; obtain permission from your legal representative where necessary.
Using the service
Use BROMINDER for your personal life map and respect the rights and privacy of others. Only add information you may lawfully use. Do not use the service for unlawful content, malware, bypassing access controls or disrupting the service.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of the dates and moments you enter. Keep your own copy of important information where needed.
Reminders and availability
We work to provide a reliable and secure service. Reminders also depend on your device, notification permission and iOS settings. Synchronisation requires a working connection and an account.
BROMINDER is a tool for personal moments. Do not rely on it as your sole resource for emergencies or critical medical, legal or financial deadlines.
Maintenance, outages or provider changes may affect availability. Where reasonably possible, we inform you about significant interruptions. This does not limit your statutory rights to a properly functioning digital service.
Your content and our rights
Rights to the content you enter remain with you or the original rights holder. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and sync that content between your own devices to provide BROMINDER.
The BROMINDER brand, software, design and app icon belong to us or our licensors. You may use the app for its intended purpose. Uses permitted by law remain permitted.
AI proposals
You can type or dictate a moment and have OpenAI interpret it. A proposal may be incorrect or incomplete. Check its date, recurrence, life line and note before adding it. You can adjust the proposal or enter a moment by hand. Our privacy policy explains which information is shared.
Privacy
Our privacy policy at /privacy explains which personal data we process and why. Sign in with Apple and the App Store may also be subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
Charges and future features
This website currently offers no paid subscription or paid app service. If we offer paid features, you will receive clear advance information about the price, duration, payment, cancellation and any statutory withdrawal period. These terms do not authorise us to charge you without your agreement.
A possible web version and other future features are not part of our current commitments. We announce their availability and applicable terms separately.
Stopping and deleting your account
You can stop using BROMINDER and delete your account through Account › Your data › Delete my account. You will lose access to the associated life map. The privacy policy explains how data deletion works.
In cases of serious misuse, we may restrict access where necessary and proportionate. Where possible, we explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond or remedy the violation. Statutory rights and any entitlement to refunds remain in place.
Liability and your statutory rights
Our liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or affect mandatory consumer rights.
Contact us if there is a problem. We will try to find a suitable solution together. Making a complaint does not prevent you from using your statutory remedies.
Changes to these terms
Changes may be needed because of legislation, security or changes to the service. We inform you in advance about material changes, explain the reason and seek consent where required by law. If a change materially disadvantages your use, you may terminate the agreement as provided by law.
We publish the current terms with an updated date. Changes do not remove statutory rights that have already arisen.
Applicable law and disputes
Dutch law applies to the agreement. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of mandatory rules in your country of habitual residence to the extent provided by applicable law.
Disputes may be referred to the court competent under the statutory rules. These terms do not require you to bring proceedings exclusively in the Netherlands.
